A great many improvements have been undertaken by Oakleigh homeowners this spring and summer. This is wonderful testimony to the importance Oakleigh residents continue to attach to maintaining the community and the value of our properties. Your efforts are appreciated.

A Reminder

About ACC Requests: Please remember that ALL modifications, improvements and upgrades to your property, including your house and lot require the prior written approval of the Architectural Control Committee/Board of Directors.

When Do I Have To Submit An ACC Request?

This should be understood to include, but not be limited to, any construction or addition to any home, including a deck, any modification of the external facade of any home, the erection of any outbuilding or shed, any painting, roof replacement, or modification of driveways, the addition of any swimming pools, fences, hot tubs, water features, walls or other hardscape, the placement of any man made object (yard art) in the front or side of any lot, changes to the landscaping of any lot (except for the planting of flowers or shrubs in existing beds), the removal of any trees, and/or any other change or modification to the exterior portion of any home or lot. The only exception is emergency repairs to make a property safe and inhabitable until such time as permanent repairs can be affected with ACC/BoD approval.

"Request for Architectural Change/Addition" must be submitted to Wayne Williams, the AC Director BEFORE any of the above work is undertaken. AC Request Forms can be found on our website at Oakleigh-online.org, and are regularly printed in our quarterly newsletter, "The Oakleigh Update". The appropriate form should be submitted to Wayne Williams at 1200 Oakleigh Valley Dr. Telephone 770-514-2030
